All activities suspended through Friday, March 27th

The Gambrills Odenton Recreation Council (GORC) Board of Directors has chosen to temporarily suspend ALL activities (practice sessions, scrimmages, games, tournaments, and meetings) through Friday, March 27th. In addition, the Spring Parade schedule for April 25th has been cancelled. This decision was made with the health, safety, and well-being of our community as our primary concerns.

GORC is actively monitoring the situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will announce updates to our status as more information is made available. We will be following the guidance of the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, the Maryland Department of Health, and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  We encourage all members of GORC to adhere to the suggestions and guidelines of these agencies.

While GORC will periodically update its website with information regarding its programming, you should seek guidance and information on COVID-19 from the following local, State, and Federal health agency websites:

Anne Arundel County Department of Health

Maryland Department of Health

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

In the event changes to GORC's programming should occur, the GORC website will be updated and members will be notified.  You may also seek information from your individual coaches and league commissioners. GORC shares your frustrations and concerns, and appreciates your patience and understanding.

Very truly yours,
GORC Board of Directors
