Winter Cheerleading

Winter Cheerleading is our Competition Cheer Season. The girls will participate in 3 competitions, 2 local & 1 out of town. Lodging & Food will be an additional cost for the out of town competition. Practices are held twice a week at local elementary schools.  There is the possibility for add on practices (1-3) to be scheduled @ a local gym, this will incure an additional nominal fee.  For those girls that did not participate in the Fall Season & do not have the necessary uniform essentials there will be 2 dates (TBA) in November for fittings - your child MUST attend 1 of those to ensure she receives her items in a timely manner.  The uniform essentials are an additional cost, but are yours to keep at the end of the season.  The main uniform, vest/skirt, are given out as loaner & post dated check (4/1/15) in the amount of $200.00 is collected as a deposit.

  • Good afternoon Cheer Families! We're heading in to our last Regular Season football weekend along with the 1st of our 2 Competitions for the Fall Season & What a great season it's been. I sure hope that all of our returning & new cheerleaders have had fun cheering on our football teams to victory & are getting excited about their upcoming performances at Univ. of MD & Six Flags. I know Betty & I are definitely looking forward to seeing all of the hardwork from both the cheerleaders & the their coaching staff shine on the floor - LETS GO WILDCATS !! Playoff schedules for the football teams that have made into playoffs should be released Monday or Tuesday of next week - We'll forward that information to everyone as soon as we've received it so that you can plan your weekends accordingly. Thank you all for your support & dedication to our cheer program & to the entire GORC organization.

2014 Fall Cheerleading

Welcome to GORC Cheerleading! The Fall season's main purposes is to support the Football program by cheering their teams on to a victory.  Each squad will cheer for 1 possibly 2 games each weekend during the season.  Games will begin in late August early September and could go thru mid to late November for those teams that make it into the Playoff's.  Participants will also compete in 2 local competitions that will take place in October.

Practices will begin on Tuesday August 5th, and take place every Tuesday/Thursday from 6-8pm @ GORC Park until we move our practices indoors the 1st/2nd week of September to area Elementary Schools.  Specific information on squads-coaches-locations & times will come as the season approaches.
