Welcome to GORC Cheerleading - Home of the Wildcats !!
Fall Cheerleading focuses primarily on supporting our Football program by cheering them onto victories during their games . Each squad will also participate in 2 Competitions, October 29th & November 6th. Other Fun Activties include our Annual Homecoming Weekend with events such as the Bonfire & Cream the Coach Pep Rally.
Practices for each squad are 2 days/week for aprox. 2 hours, and are set to begin on Tuesday August 9th @ 6:00pm. During the month of August these practices will take place outdoors at GORC Park. In September all squads will move to indoor practices which are held in our local Elementary Schools. In addition, we will have 4 mandatory add-on practices at a local gym - All Seasons Athletics - in Millersville, 9/18/16 - 10/2/16 - 10/9/16 & 10/23/16, 12-5pm (these days &/or times could possibly change)
There will be 3 mandatory dates for Uniform Fittings, your child MUST attend one of these dates to ensure that she receives her necessary items in time. Uniforms & all Essentials are purchased & yours to keep at the end of the season. The cost for these items will be approximately $175. The fittings will take place at the Announcement Tower from 6:30-8:00pm (located inbetween the Upper & Main Football Fields) on Thursday 5/12/16, Tuesday 5/17/16 & Thursday 5/19/16. We will also be offering an Online Cheer Specific Apparel Store during the months of May & June. Other than 1 pair of practice shorts & 1 practice tank, all of the items offered on this site will be Optional for purchase. Items being offered are such as: Hats/Visors, Gear Bags, Warm Ups & Fan T-shirts.
Finally, Registration fills up quickly - So don't hesitate, Register your cheerleader early to secure her spot & save on the cost, EarlyBird Fees will increase as of June 15th,

Practices for our Fall Season begin on Tuesday 8/9/16 @ 6pm. Meet at the Gazebo for a brief introduction of your Commissioners & Coaching staff before breaking off with your squad for practice. Make sure your cheerleader is dressed appropriately (shorts, tank, athletic shoes & hair pulled up) Please bring a water bottle & pre apply any necessary bug spray.
