Arundel
Jr. Wrestling has officially entered a
recreation level team into Howard
County Wrestling
(HCW) Age/Weight league as well as a travel team in the Capital
Area Wrestling League (CAWL). The
Howard County League will be a venue for all non travel level wrestlers from
5-15 years old. All matches will be held at the
League
Structure
Clinic
(Tots) - Ages 5-7 years, with 0-1 year experience.
Focus is on basic skill development, low-impact exposure to the sport,
fun and games. Clinic practices one day a week for 1 hour at
Recreation
League – Ages 7-15 years, with 0-5+ years experience.
Wrestlers in this league compete in the Howard County Wrestling League
(Age/Weight) B Division. Focus is on
basic to intermediate technique at a more intense level with two 1 ½ hour
practices a week.
Travel Team (Select) – This is
an advanced level straight weight only league open to ages 6-15. Wrestlers
in this league compete in the Capital Area Wrestling League (CAWL) A Division.

Mandatory Forms
All youth wrestlers participating in this program are REQUIRED to complete a player contract. The player contract and a copy of their birth certificate MUST be turned in the first day of practice.
