Open to children ages 5 - 15

(5 by 12/31/10; must not turn 16 prior to 3/15/11)

Arundel Jr. Wrestling will participate in the Anne Arundel County (AACO) "A" Travel League as well as the recreation level "B" League.

League Structure

Clinic (Tots) - Ages 5-7 years, with 0-1 year experience. Focus is on basic skill development, low-impact exposure to the sport, fun and games. Clinic practices one day a week for 1 hour at Arundel Senior High School . (Limit 25)

Recreation League � Ages 7-15 years, with 0-5+ years experience. Wrestlers in this league compete in the AACO B Division. Focus is on basic to intermediate technique at a more intense level with two 1 � hour practices a week at Arundel Senior High School . Wrestlers will be matched based on an Age/Weight format.

Travel Team (Select) � This is an advanced level straight weight only league open to ages 7-15. Wrestlers in this league compete in the AACO A Division. Practices will be held at Arundel Senior High School with three 2 hour practices a week. Wrestlers will be matched based on a straight weight format.

Players will be contacted by the coach about practice dates and times.

Mandatory Forms

All youth wrestlers participating in this program are REQUIRED to complete a player contract. The player contract and a copy of their birth certificate MUST be turned in the first day of practice.
